Laziness with revision -_-

I'm back guys with another vlog *cue cheering* yay about my difficulties in revising. I mean hey it is holidays isn't it but still I got exams the 1st or 2nd week back in January, so its got to be done, if I want good grades. Anyways there was a little bit of the video which wouldn't work. Basically I explained how it I wasn't able to sort/clean out my make-up drawer and show you guys my progress with that because I knew it was going to be a lot of mess and a lot to sort out. Anyways I couldn't do that because my dad was fixing this one wall in my room that was slightly cracked. I shall do it tomorrow if the room is sorted out because my dad had to move my wardrobe and stuff. If it's not sorted out then I will do that on Sunday. Oh and I'm sorry if there's random black slides at the end, I couldn't figure out how to remove them -_-
Looks like this is gonna be uploaded after midnight, the video is taking forever to upload -.-

Okay, I started writing this at 11.30pm and now it is 12.07am, wow!
Oh and one last thing, I want you guys to tell me (via Twitter: @redintoxination or the comment section below) on what type of videos do you want to see, makeup/hair tutorial, hauls, ottds etc.

So now it is 1.50am and I want to sleep so I shall sort this video uploading process tomorrow!

This is really annoying. I used this fancy video editing software and made it all cool looking then it wouldn't upload here so I have now finished the editing on Windows Movie Maker at 2.37am so I shall attempt to put it up now because I want to sleep.

I'm sorry if colour is off, still trying to figure out how to use my new camera, so bear with me.
Bye guys, talk to you soon xxx

Another One2Five Update...

Hi guys I'm back with a  new music post, whoop!
I mentioned in the last post that I wanted to do a music post, but wasn't sure what about. Finally I have settled on doing another One2Five update because about a week or so ago a big news was given to us by them. A really exciting news!

They will be working with major producers, management company and a record label who have worked with Chris Brown, Beyonce, Leona Lewis and Justin Bieber! But it's too early for them to tell us who exactly it is they will be working with.

All I can say is that I am so proud, I am so proud that I can't even express in words how happy I am. They put up a video on YouTube and I wasn't on Facebook much that day, so I didn't see any updates from them. So late at night I was in bed, I casually decided to check out if any of my subscriptions have new videos, and I saw One2Five had a video called "ONE2FIVE Announcement Video". I got really excited because I remembered out of the blue that there was going to be an announcement video. So I quickly clicked it and watched it. When it was announced, I couldn't exactly scream because my sisters were sleeping so I literally cried from happiness, I think I cried till I fell asleep. So yeah, that's the mini story of how proud/happy I am/was with this news. Below is their "Announcement video"

Anyways, they are going they will be going Los Angeles between 6th January 2013- 20th January 2013.

There's a little article I found through Farhaana Kapasi on her blog:

It can be translated to English, or other languages thanks to Google Translate so if you want to see it here you are:[]

Erm, I think I'll just mention a little bit of it here, what it says in the article (Kind of rephrased it so it makes sense):
"The band, at the moment unsigned, are very excited.  There are people who worked with Justin Bieber , Chris Brown, Leona Lewis and Beyonce to name a few. So there are some of the largest in the industry, says Adam, a member of One2Five."
"The guys will not pay for travel. The people who want to meet them will be arranging it all. This is where it starts for real, says Samuel. It will be really exciting!"
"Over two million views: One2Five was formed as recently as last spring, but has already enjoyed tremendous success on Youtube. Over two million views in five cover songs can not be summarized in any other way than success."
"We live in a new time. Internet and social media plays an extremely important role and Facebook, Twitter and Instagram enable us to always keep close contact with our fans, says Michael.
early as 13 days after releasing her first cover was first published interview with the band in the press and shortly thereafter started both the media and record companies to get in touch."
"One2Five consists of members Johan Hammenfors, Simon Samaeng, Adam Lundgren, Michael Lee Cheung and Samuel Danielsson.
The songs they did covers of the Maroon 5 - Payphone, Chris Brown - Do not wake me up, Justin Bieber - All around the world, Taylor Swift - We are never ever getting back together and One Direction - Kiss you."
^Above are just snippets I picked out from the article, some I altered to make more sense other bits was straight up copied. To read it properly use the link above :)
Before I dismiss myself to go off and sleep, I would just like to say One2Five mean a lot to me, even though I haven't known them for long. They are such a inspiration and I wish them the best for the future!
Goodnight, good morning, good afternoon, wherever you guys are. I'll talk to you peeps soon :) x
P.S. If you would like, check out their Twitter accounts (Below) and their Facebook accounts (Below) Not pressurizing you guys in any way, just putting it out there, if you want to contact them or stay up to date with their latest stuff, you can check out their different social networking accounts. They have Instagram too, but I don't want this post to be too long so if you want you can find their Instagram accounts, they can be found from their Twitter or Facebook!
Individuals: I don't think you can add Samuel and Simon as they have reached the limit. I know so sad, I couldn't add them either :'(

Birthday Haul...

Hey guys, I'm so sorry I'm late... again.
I've been ill again so I haven't been able to do a new post.
I think it's the 24th December, by the time I post this so yeah, yesterday was my birthday and I really wanted to do a music post but I didn't know what about so I did a birthday haul/outfit of the day video in one.
A little "disclaimer" I guess it can be called that, I did mention it like twice in the video anyways, I am not showing off any of my presents or anything it's just that I had nothing else to do for a new post so out of the blue I decided to do this.
I'm sorry that the lighting is off really bad, I just used my camera phone but do not fear, I am getting a new camcorder today so yay, better quality videos.
One last little thing, my 10 year old sister was shooting the video for me so its a bit shaky and I think i'm cut off at some points because she got excited and started moving the camera a little too much lol
It is a little long, probably because I blabbered on a bit too much but hey it's all there so check it out below!

Hope you enjoyed that and I have decided to do vlogs, ottds, hauls etc more often so stay tuned for that. Bye guys, talk to you soon, or should I say sooner this time :D xx

P.S. I'm sorry that I'm kind of weird in this video, I was hyper -__-

Skincare routines are important....

It's been 7 days since an update :o
So sorry, I've been real ill the past 4-5 days, on Wednesday I came home from school because I felt sick and dizzy and in pain pretty much and that day I wanted to do a update, but my mom stopped me lol. Doesn't matter though, I'm back!
As I promised, I'm here with my skincare routine yay! So I'm just going to go straight into it.

Step 1: The most important aspect is a facial wash, whether you wear make-up or not you should ALWAYS wash your face morning and night. I use the whole Tea Tree range from TheBodyShop. I have been using this range for roughly a year now, and I like it quite a lot. This particular face wash is called "Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash" which was designed to give people with blemished skin, clearer skin when it used daily. It removes excess oils without over-drying the face, helps to remove impurities and is clinically proven to give clearer skin. At first I wasn't convinced at all as a lot of products do give such 'promises' but they never worked. I bought it anyways and it has worked for me. My skin cleared when I began to use it regularly. So I know its pretty basic,
how to use it but I might as well explain how I do it. So when I wake up, I like to splash cold/warm (depending on how I'm feeling that morning) on to my face. I then squeeze a small amount of the gel onto my hand and apply it to my face, avoiding precious eye area and mouth. Now I use a cool little brush to do a daily exfoliating. And here it is, on the left. I  make it damp with warm water and move it on my face in circular motions to gently exfoliate my skin. It is really gentle on the skin but can easily break away dead skin cells, so thumbs up for me! This is not important for everywhere as we all have specific needs, but I know, specially during the winter months, I get dry skin near my nose so I like to gently exfoliate everyday. Once I have exfoliated, I rinse the cleanser of my face and then dab it dry with a face towel/flannel. You can use a facial sponge as it is more gentle on the skin. Facial flannels or towels can scratch the skin, but I'm pretty much used to them so i use them carefully. Instead of wiping the face vigorously I tend to just dab.
For a while I used a cleanser called "Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser" which was really soothing as it was a foam cleanser. When it finished I used the other one mentioned above, as I got it with a package deal thingy that TheBodyShop tend to do a lot. It is good to switch up your cleansers from time to time so your skin doesn't become immune to one type of cleanser very easily. But you shouldn't change dramatically  As you can see I just changed from a foaming cleanser to a regular gel-like cleanser.

Step 2: Now this isn't necessary but I have learnt to add this in to my routine as it is beneficial as it can give your skin all the "water" it needs. I'm not going to lie, after using it, it feels that your skin has drunk loads of water. The one I use is simply called "Tea Tree Facial Toner". It i said to be a refreshing toner which gives a matte, shine-free toner and I agree with it because it really does that, after continuous use of course. It removes any traces of make-up and/or impurities still left after cleansing and mattifies to leave your skin shine-free, which I have already mentioned. Okay so this is how to use it. My toner in particular has mattifying powders right at the bottom of the bottle which means I first have to shake the bottle to activate these powders. Most toners probably don't have this, but I guess it just depends. So once I have shaked it, I grab a cotton pad and squeeze a generous amount of the toner to it. I then sweep it across my face, avoiding the eye area. Once I am done, most days I look at the pad I do see traces of oil or make-up on it but I think with full on continuous use this stops, but I'm not sure because I get lazy sometimes and leave it out, which is bad I know, but I have promised myself to use it religiously as if it is my holy grail product, in a way I guess it is lol.
Step 3: This is the "Tea Tree Oil" itself. I sometimes use this on actual blemishes during the day or night before applying moisturizer. I just dab a little onto a q-tip/cotton bud or cotton wool and then put it onto the blemish and let it dry a little. This is good to use on blemishes as it has anti-bacterial properties and is soothing therefore will not irritate your blemishes even more. If you apply it over-night as it has more time to take effect, so I do tend to apply it before sleeping but sometimes I do apply it during the day. When I wake up, I have seen big red spots from last night, reduced down massively so its a big thumbs up for me.

Step 4: Moisturizing is the key. I use "Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion". I mentioned in my last skincare post that it is important whether you wear make-up or not. It is portrayed as being a light, non-oily moisturizing lotion for blemished skin. It provides lightweight hydration, is easily absorbed, has shine control for a matte finish and has antibacterial action. So I squirt a bit into the palms of my hands and then I apply dots all over my face using my index finger. After that I smooth it all out across my face and neck.

So that's pretty much what I do for my skincare but at night there are a few things I add or take out, here they are.

Right after cleansing but before toning my face, at night I use the "Tea Tree Blackhead Exfoliating Wash". I use this 2-3 times a week. It is said to remove trapped dirt, oil and dead skin cells, gently exfoliates and leaves your skin feeling soft. I totally agree. From continuous use my skin does feel soft. Now that it's winter and I've just recovering from a cold, I have a lot of dry skin, especially around my nose so I will be using this tonight I think and a lot this winter. It's really simple to apply. Just massage it onto wet skin, paying attention to the problem areas, for me that's the nose, chin or forehead. Then I use my little facial brush and brush it over my face to gently exfoliate. Then I just rinse it off with warm water, simple!

Instead of the normal moisturizer, before I sleep I like to use "Tea Tree Night Lotion" because it is made to wear at night lol. It is made to replenish moisture overnight, leaves your skin matte and has antibacterial action. I do pretty much the same as what I do with my normal moisturizer. I squeeze 1 pump of the lotion onto my hand, put dots of it all over my face then blend it out all over my face and neck.

So guys that's pretty much my routine. Remember you do not need to have this many products, you could have more or less. It just depends on your skin type and what your skin needs. Just look around and see what YOU think will suit your skin best.
I still hope this was helpful and I shall be back, this time quicker, with a new post. I feel like doing a music post because I haven't done one in some time. Now I need to find something to do it about. Hmm I'll have to get thinking. Talk to you soon guys xxx

Homemade is the best way...

I'm so sorry I'm late with the blog post again. I know I was meant to do my skincare routine post but I kind of forgot. But before that I decided to talk about face masks. In particular homemade ones. I love using shop-bought masks, when my skincare routine is put up then you shall see I use a variety of them. But I love making my own at home because you know what's going into it as you're making it yourself.
I do make quite a few, but I'm kind of lazy to put too much effort in so I made this one after at least 2 months.

I learnt most of the homemade mask from my #1 YouTube beauty guru, Bubzbeauty. She is awesome, been following her videos for about 3 years and most things I know are thanks to her.
The mask I made is called a chocolate face mask.
Here's what you need:

  • Coco powder or butter: even though chocolate is real fattening and bad for our teeth, cocoa is actually really moisturizing therefore increases skin hydration. It is also high in anti-oxidants which help to fight free radicals, protecting our skin from pollution and sun damage.
  • Honey: It is a ingredient which has been used for thousands of years to achieve glowing skin. It rejuvenates the skin and repairs skin cells and it is also hydrating and nourishing. Just like cocoa it is high in anti-oxidants. It tightens skin and is able to treat acne and inflammation, so it's perfect for me as I do have acne.
  • Natural Yogurt/whipped cream (I like to use yogurt): Natural yogurt has loads of benefits, the list is just endless. A few of the benefits are; it hydrates the skin, brightens complexion, treats blemishes, fades scars, reduces redness, tightens pores and much much more and if I list them, this post will be like 3 pages long.
So here we go. I have pictures of the steps that I did. I was going to make a video but my mom kept walking in and out of the video and disturbing me so I took pictures instead.

Step 1: Grab all your things. The three main ingredients plus a bowl and a old foundation brush.

Step 2: Take 1 desert spoon/table spoon of cocoa powder/butter. I used to use Bournville dark chocolate but the smell was strong so now I just use the average Cadbury's one. Once you've got the spoon of cocoa powder put it into your bowl.

Step 3: Then take 1 spoon of honey and pop it into the bowl too.

Step 4: Mix it up with the old foundation brush. I had difficulty with the brush so I did it with a clean spoon instead and it worked like a charm!

Step 5: Now add 1 spoon of the natural yogurt and mix it all up. Mix it up it up real good until it's all combined together.

Step 6: Once it is all mixed it should look like this. I like to chill it in the fridge for about 2-3 minutes so it can feel refreshing when I apply it.

Application process:
A little heads up, it can get quite messy so I suggest wearing something dark. I tend to do it in my PJ's if they're going in the wash that day.
Now time to apply. Once again I would've made a video, but I looked hilarious so I didn't. Now using a old but clean foundation brush, apply a generous amount of it to your face avoiding your mouth and the delicate eye area.
Then you let it set for about 20-25 minutes. In this time, do anything to keep your self occupied. I applied my hair mask in this time and watched T.V. After 25 minutes, it's time to rinse it off. When you rinse it off you'll actually feel the cocoa powder exfoliating your skin, I'm not lying here either, I really felt it. After you've washed it all off, pat your face dry.
After treatment:
Straight away my skin felt hydrated and refreshed. But remember to still tone and moisturize your skin to lock in the moisture gained from this mask.

Your skin feels tighter, firmer and smoother. This is one good detoxing facial and I'm going to try and do it at least once very 2 weeks.
So you can pump your skin with chocolate but without the calories, kind of like dessert but for the face!

This post is in very brief details. If you want full details check out my beauty guru Bubzbeauty below and subscribe to her if you like it! :D

Thanks for reading guys and I hope this helped. It's kind of late now, so I'm going to do my skincare routine tomorrow because I just want to sleep. Night, talk to you soon xxx
